Retro Style. Photos, pictures

An arrangement of favorite, framed photographs, wall art, painting, wall sculptureand can add personality and warmth to any room. When done correctly, wall art can change the focal point or the entire look any room.
How to arrange photos?
After redecorating or moving into a new flat or home, it seems one of the last projects is always hanging pictures on the wall. It’s no surprise for arranging photos is a decorating challenge that can stump even the most seasoned home decorator.

THE frames are the same color and general shape and hung in a straight line. Depending on your photos, you can hang the frames all horizontally, all vertically, or in an alternating pattern as shown.

Group a collection of framed photos of different sizes and colors to create one unified shape. If you have a lot of pics, you could fill the space of a narrow wall or the space above the sofa. Try to group photos tightly, with no more than an inch or two between photos.
Making a group of art or pictures on a wall is an perfect way to create an interesting focal point.
Use a measuring tape to be sure that the distance between several pictures that will hang in a row is equal. Four small pictures on the left of a large picture can be balanced with two medium sized pictures on the right. You should remember that this only works with careful consideration to balance.
TIPS:
Pictures and prints should hang just above eye level.
Consider lighting to emphasize your arrangement. When lighting is directed to the arrangement, it commands even more attention. Be careful of lighting that is bright. This type of lighting should be subdued and not produce glare.
Add diversity to the arrangement. Use frames and mats that are different sizes and shapes, but compliment one another.
